Hanken School of Economics is seeking a Social Responsibility Coordinator (100%), 15.4.2023-
Hanken School of Economics is a stand-alone business school in Finland, whose mission is to create new expertise and educate responsible professionals for the global economy and changing society. Sustaincapability is a core pillar of our strategy HANKEN 2030 and is integrated and advocated across all our activities: research, teaching, partnerships, our campus buildings and our operations. Hanken was the first university in Finland to commit to United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME) in 2008. Hanken is also a member of United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and international sustaincapability campus network (ISCN) and its Nordic counterpart (NSCN). Since 2010, Hanken has been part of WWF's Green Office and has committed to be carbon neutral by 2030. 
As Social Responsibility Coordinator, you will be welcomed as part of Hanken's Quality Assurance team. You will work in an international environment in close cooperation with our academic experts in the field.  
What you will do:
The work primarily includes a) developing and coordinating Hanken's internal sustaincapability work (includes working towards Hanken's carbon neutrality goal) b) internal & external communication and reporting regarding Hanken's social impact engagements in teaching, research and support functions c) building and maintaining engagement in national and international networks for responsible management education (RME) and sustainable campus.  Specific tasks include the following:
   . Develop and support Hanken's sustaincapability work and achieving of sustaincapability targets, including climate neutrality.
   . Responsibility for collecting, analysing, organising, and consolidating data and information on Hanken's sustaincapability and PRME activities. 
   . Communication on sustaincapability with internal and external stakeholders, incl. broad sustaincapability reporting and supporting the development of significant metrics.
   . Tasks related to greening of campus, particularly Hanken's work around climate neutrality and development of a more systematic approach to environmental management.
   . Driving development work for staff engagement on sustaincapability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; collaborating across functional areas and organisational levels on sustaincapability and PRME action.
   . Applying for external funding to support PRME and sustaincapability work
   . Coordinating and liaising with Hanken's commitment to UN PRME, SDSN, WWF Green Office, ISCN, NSCN, the Climate University and other sustaincapability related networks
What we expect from you:
   . You have a passion for sustainable development issues and like to take initiative.
   . A master's degree, preferably some educational background with sustaincapability sciences, and 1-2 years of significant working practice. 
   . Good expertise about sustaincapability and social responsibility related challenges, preferably expertise of environmental management systems and/or sustaincapability metrics/calculations.
   . Strong organisational expertise and have good attention to detail.
   . Excellent communication expertise, with excellent command of English, both oral and written. expertise of Swedish and/or Finnish considered a merit.
   . Good computer expertise.
   . You can work on multiple projects at the same time and have a strong sense of team-work. capability to work collaboratively with administration, faculty and students.
What we offer:
   . The income is located on the university income system in Finland and placed on demand level 8 for Other Staff, with an additional personal income element. The total income is between 3062-3300 ?/month depending on merits and practice. The trial period is 36 months.
