Job description 
This is a key function, interfacing with executives and clients across business units. A appropriate candidate will be a confident leader and good communicator, technically adept, hands-on and interested in technology. This candidate will also be expected to maintain a broad and in-depth knowledge of AV technologies. The function requires an appreciation for the business needs to deliver solutions that deliver true value.  
Your responsibilities include: 
   . Acting as the lead of the local technicians team, guiding everyday activities on team level and being accountable for the team
   . Reporting and communicating issues, status updates and resolutions to management
   . Leading and coordinating the production of live events, including setup, operating, controlling cameras and assisting with sound, lighting and other live and streamed meeting logistics for programs and events including Teams live and Teams streamed meetings
   . Monitoring and troubleshooting stream quality during live-streaming productions. Supporting livestreaming, including real-time and first pass editing, as well as trimming of live event recordings.
   . Providing meticulous on-site conference room technical support for employees and business associates as well as external clients by e.g. setting up and adjusting and operating AV equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings, conferences, and other events.
   . Routine inventory, maintenance, testing and room checks to confirm functionality of all AV equipment and software.
   . Making recommendations for AV equipment and software purchases.
   . Performing equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements, and inspections.
   . Taking lead in special projects and tasks as needed, including potential large-scale AV upgrades and new build projects.
The function will be located out of the Plano office and will be 100% on-site. Working shifts are normal office hours, Monday through Friday. this function reports to North America's Services Manager. The compensation range for this function is 62-70K USD depending on your practice, and a benefit package is available after 90 days.
What do we expect from you? 
We are not looking for a unicorn - rather someone, who wants to lgain and develop in this function. However, these are things that will assist you and your everyday work: 
   . practice in event production - leading different sized events onsite is an important part of the job
   . Technical and analytical trouble shooting expertise
   . Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, network terminology and technologies as well as video conferencing and audio solutions
   . Previous practice with Crestron. Any significant certifications, such as Microsoft, Cisco or Poly, are a plus, but also something you will definitely lgain on the job.
   . Previous practice from service coordination, service delivery, tech support or similar will help you get started smoothly.
   . Service-mindedness, a proactive problem-solving attitude and taking ownership of your work.
   . Good communication and interpersonal expertise, being able to communicate with different stakeholders in a clear and proper manner, leading and coordinating teams and events. These include good documentation expertise and fluent written and spoken English expertise.
   . Being happy working in an internationally dispersed team with coworkers across the globe, with coworkers from different cultures and like the rest of us, being supportive respectful so that everyone be themselves.
